Houston Arts Alliance (HAA) will present 1511-2014: Five Centuries of Printmaking, an eclectic and bold exhibition of intaglios, etching, lithographs and woodcuts spanning almost 500 years in the Alliance Gallery, 3201 Allen Parkway, Suite 125.
The opening reception will be 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 22, and an Artists’ Talk will be held on Tuesday, June 24, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Regular gallery hours for the exhibition are Wednesday – Friday, 3:30 – 5 p.m.

On display from May 22 until June 27, the exhibition is part of PrintHouston 2014, a citywide celebration of original prints, the artists who create them and the people who collect them.
The exhibition will include prints by such masters as Georges Braque, Pieter Bruegel the Elder, Albrecht Dürer, Francisco de Goya, James Ensor, Dan Flavin, Rockwell Kent, Louis Legrand, Henri Mayeux, Bruce Nauman, Francis Picabia, Joseph Powell, Rembrandt van Rijn, Ed Ruscha, Max Slevogt, Hermann Struck, Lucas van Leyden and Andy Warhol.
Contemporary regional artists represented are Terry Allen, Mel Chin, Benito Huerta, Lucas Johnson, Patrick Masterson, Devon Christopher Moore, Kyle Olson, Aaron Muñoz and Magda Boltz Wilson.
