Grammy Award winners, Al Jarreau, Kirk Whalum and 2014 Grammy Nominee Boney James, headline an All-Star ensemble of musical guests performing at the "4th Annual Red Cat Jazz Festival."
The line-up also includes; Marion Meadows, Miki Howard, Tom Brown, Mike Phillips, Jazz in Pink featuring Nik West, Karen Briggs & Gail Jhonson; Michael Ward, Joey Sommerville and Bryan Best.

The Red Cat Jazz Festival 2014, hosted by Marion Meadows, celebrates its fourth year as one of the most coveted and highly anticipated music events in the Houston/Galveston area. Attracting both local and out-of-towners to the beautiful Island of Galveston, this world-class line-up will make this year’s festival second to none.
The weekend experience includes a pre-festival poolside reception where guests can mix and mingle with the artists up close and personal, a golf tournament at the Moody Gardens Golf Course, vendor exhibits, a host of culinary offerings and much more.
The festival will also celebrate Houston’s own, Ronnie Laws’ fifty years in music. The tribute will be a magical musical experience for the fans.
The Red Cat Jazz Preservation Society’s Rising Star Talent Competition will bring promising high school musicians to the stage as part of its mission to educate students about the importance of jazz music in Houston. This initiative works to promote the dynamic and rich legacy of the city’s musical history. The Rising Star’s will perform both Saturday and Sunday. The Rising Star Talent Competition will be hosted by radio personality Dana Jackson.
