We are extremely pleased to announce “9”, a Civic TV nomadic exhibition guest curated for the 2020 FotoFest Biennial. Featuring artists Latifa Albokhari, Sebastien Boncy, J Bilhan, Erin Carty, Colby Deal, Cary Fagan, Ronald L Jones, Lovie Olivia, an
“9” showcases the overlapping Cosmologies illustrated by the diverse offerings of nine Houston-based artists presenting the polylithic nature of Houston’s African diaspora. In this exhibition Blackness and Otherness refuse the notion of a simplified or schematized existence.
This exhibition has been collaboratively curated by the artist featured in it, and is organized by Civic TV for the 2020 FotoFest Biennial.

• April 19th 2PM-6PM – Closing Reception, Exhibition Catalog Release, and Community Celebration featuring “The Artist Alone Decides” a music event curated by Internal/eternal. A pot luck lunch and bar will be provided by Civic TV.
• Open weekdays during business hours throughout the duration of the exhibition
