Bay Area Houston Ballet and Theatre/Bayou Theater UHCL production, An American in Paris is a story of finding love, happiness, and a new lease on life. The musical in set in the City of Lights, Paris, as it emerges from the shadows of World War II. The musical was inspired by the 1951 film of the same name and adopted for the stage by Christopher Wheeldon. Directed by Laney Carlin and choreographed by Laura Henning Thompson, this adaption is a showcase of amazing talent from the Clear Lake/Houston area.
