An Evening of Gulf Coast Americana With Kam Franklin

Kam Franklin will be live recording and presenting a preview of unreleased songs off her upcoming solo Gulf Coast Americana Visual Album, “What Must Be Said”. The recording for this process has taken place completely at Wonky Power, the same venue that this live public performance and livestream will take place at. The presentation is meant to encourage and educate the next generation of female music producers to step into the industry by showing them how accessible and fun it can be. The songs are centered around social injustice, environmental inequity, food deserts, loss, love, survival, and Houston, TX.

Local singer-songwriter, Sara Van Buskirk, will open the show, and food will be sold for purchase by Ryan Grimes of Knives In Water. No cover, all ages. Doors at 7, show at 8.
