Argentina: Siglo XXI

Terra Nostra opens the 2019/20 season with a mix of classical and popular tunes from Argentina. Music by Ginastera and Piazzolla. Featuring Grammy-winning violinist Eddy Marcano

The Terra Nostra Ensemble begins the season with a journey to the tip of South America: Argentina. In the spirit of Nuevo Tango, this program bridges classical and folk traditions, pairing Ginastera’s String Quartet No.1 with Argentina’s most famous musical export, tangos.
