The founding of the first African American Pin Up magazine is chronicled.

Houston playwright and director Vincent Victoria offers his first feature film Blaque Tcherie which tells the story of two ambitious black men attempting to get famous African American stars Lena Horne, Eartha Kitt,Dorothy Dandridge, and Pearl Bailey in 1954 pose for the inaugural issue of the first African American Magazine focusing on the beauty of black women.
