Society for the Perfoming Arts presents Buddy – The Buddy Holly Story.

Before The Beatles, The Beach Boys or The Rolling Stones, rock ‘n’ roll was forever changed by Buddy Holly, a 19-year-old kid from Texas.

Buddy – The Buddy Holly Story opened on The West End in London and continued on to Broadway before touring the world since the early 2000s. This unforgettable musical tells the true story of his meteoric rise to fame from that moment in 1957 when “That’ll Be The Day” hit the airwaves until the day the music died less than two years later.

Armed with a Fender Stratocaster guitar, his signature specs and a charismatic blend of rockabilly swagger, Buddy explodes onto the stage in a jukebox musical fully loaded with classics.  The show, featuring more than 20 hits including “Peggy Sue,” “Oh Boy!” and “Not Fade Away,” will have you on your feet and will “send you out of the theater on an unstoppable high!”
