Recital
Tenor Alejandro Salvia returns to Houston for a special recital and workshop at the Institute of Hispanic Culture of Houston.
A native of Cuba, Mr. Salvia possesses vast choral, recital and theatrical experience as well as several honors and awards on and off the operatic stage. He currently lives in New York, where The Brooklyn Daily Eagle has recently praised his "expressive tenor" and comedic timing in Mozart's The Marriage of Figaro.
His recital in Houston will feature repertoire ranging from the Renaissance period to beloved Latin-American songs.
Free Workshop
Immediately following Mr. Salvia’s performance, you are invited to stay for his workshop either as participants or listeners. Mr. Salvia’s techniques encompass the areas of vocal technique, voice therapy, breath management, movement and interpretation. Singers, actors and performers of all ages and levels of vocal and theatrical experience are welcome.
