Asia Society Texas Center presents Creation Station: Indian Folk Painting.
Inspired by the artwork in the exhibit Transcendent Deities of India: Everyday Occurrence of the Divine, we will create Indian folk designs. Styles will celebrate Madhubani artwork from Bihar, Patas from West Bengal, and similar traditions from across India.
A storytelling session will also connect visitors with the importance of deities for everyday life in India.
