The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, in partnership with Da Camera of Houston, presents Double Take: Impressions of Ravel to complement the Museum’s collection of Impressionist paintings and the exhibition John Singer Sargent: The Watercolors.

The Impressionists and Sargent (1856–1925) are celebrated for capturing the fleeting moment, whether painting the landscape en plein air (in open air), capturing urban Europeans engaged in leisure activities, or in penetrating portraits.
