Do-Over

“Art, unlike life, permits do-overs: the illusion that one can get things right with craft and persistence.” Kahn Man.

To kick off a new year of exhibitions at Sabine Street Studios, we are reflecting on the idea of “do-overs,”  and the process of constantly and unendingly starting again and again.  Whether it is on the same canvas, covering up past pigments, or a fresh start, preferring a clean sheet of white paper. Sabine Street Studios artists participating in “Do-Over“ include Anne Mabry, Carrie Swim, Chris Pinon, Daniela Koontz, Don Fogg, Hugo Perez, Justin Earl Grant, Kelly Bourgeois, MW Gallery Art, Thomas Paul, Toto and SJ Art and Frames Gallery.

A reception for the artists will take place on Thursday, February 23 from 5:00 – 8:30 pm. Join us to meet and celebrate the artists, as well as for some light refreshments.
