The program features Commercial Specialist Donna Carter, U.S. Consulate, Perth, Australia who will discuss industry opportunities for U.S. business. Following her address, a panel of industry professionals will share their market experience. Ms. Carter will be available afterwards for one-on-one meetings to provide customized advice on business opportunities.

Australia is the fourth largest economy in the Asia-Pacific region and can be considered as a platform for doing business in Asia. The Australia-U.S. Free Trade Agreement, which went into effect in 2005, enhanced the long and successful trading relationship by eliminating tariffs on almost all U.S. manufactured and agricultural goods.
