The Houston Public Library invites the community to Hispanic Heritage Day, an all-day genealogy workshop provided in partnership between the Clayton Library Center for Genealogical Research and the Hispanic Genealogical Society.
The workshop will assist Houston’s Hispanic community in their quest to find their ancestors or family history. The free all-day workshop will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2014. The Clayton Library is located at 5300 Caroline, 77004 in the Museum District.

Are you interested in researching your family but are not sure where to begin? Topics to be covered include organizing your known information. Inexpensive resources to try and more advanced resources will also be summarized. What type of information is found in immigration documents? We will explore records to reveal some valuable research clues.
