Houston Choral Showcase: Harmony in Motion

 The show choir Houston Choral Showcase will perform a variety of popular music in their upcoming concert Harmony in Motion on June 7.

Songs include tunes from movies, Broadway shows, and other genres such as pop, country, and disco. Artists covered range from Groucho Marx to Adele!

…including Song of the Lonely Mountain (“The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey”); Skyfall (“Skyfall”); Home (Phillip Phillips); Sitting on the Dock (Otis Redding); Too Much Heaven (Bee Gees); Jet Set (“Catch Me If You Can”); It’s Raining Men (Weather Girls); When Will I Be Loved (Linda Ronstadt); Orinoco Flow (Enya); Good Time (Owl City & Carly Rae Jepsen); Long Train Runnin (Doobie Brothers); Stuck Like Glue (Sugarland); Lydia the Tattooed Lady (Groucho Marx); Bring the House Down (S Club 7); and more!

"Harmony in Motion" will be presented on Saturday, June 7 at 4pm. The venue is the Lowe Theater at St. John's School, 2707 Buffalo Speedway, Houston TX 77098. Tickets are $20 at the door, with discount pricing for advance purchase or advance booking of groups of eight or more. Seating is not assigned and doors to the seated area open about 30 minutes before showtime. Parking is free.

Directed by Diane Benson, Houston Choral Showcase is Houston's only mixed pop/variety show choir.
