Houston LGBT Pride Celebration 2014
2014 marks 36 years of the Houston LGBT Pride Celebration. The Pride Festival and Pride Parade are at the center of the celebration.
Pride Houston has worked at the heart of the local LGBT community to educate and celebrate the diversity within our city’s large population. Every year, Pride Houston works hard with national sponsors and local volunteers to organize and produce a series of events that cater to and promote Houston’s ever-growing LGBT community.

Admission is free, but donations for support can be given at the information booths at either entrance to the Festival. Most exhibitors and food vendors only accept cash, and ATMs are available on-site until 7 p.m. or at local businesses.
The following streets will be closed Friday June 27 to Sunday, June 29 at 3 a.m.
- Yoakum Boulevard between Westheimer and Hawthorne
- Lovett Boulevard between Graustark and Montrose
- Commonwealth Boulevard between Westheimer and Lovett
- Mt. Vernon Street between Westheimer and Lovett
- Yoakum between Westheimer and California St
Parking is limited, so please utilize bicycles, your feet or public transportation whenever possible. Bus stops are conveniently located along Westheimer for quick access. Please call 713-635-4000 or visit www.ridemetro.org for information on routes, schedules and all of Metro services.
