“I’m Still a Woman”, is an episodic stage play exploring the prevalent, yet taboo topic of infertility in women of color. Come and receive hope, love, information, support, optimism, options and a reason to smile and say, “I’m Still a Woman!”
Houston Play On Purpose and Playwright Holly Charles present the episodic stage play I’m Still a Woman, exploring the prevalent, yet taboo topic of infertility in women of color. Showing at Midtown Arts & Theater Center (MATCH – 3400 Main) on Saturday, August 25th, 2018, HPOP hopes to shape and change the way fertility is perceived within the African and Hispanic Diasporas. 3pm Opening Production, hosted by the Houston Area Urban League Young Professionals (HAULYP) followed by panel discussion and Q&A with fertility experts

The opening production will conclude with a Panel and Q&A featuring experts from the Houston Fertility Institute, Texas Adoption Resources Exchange, and playwright Holly Charles, M.A.
Joining our efforts to inform and combat the stigma of infertility, they will also be available with pamphlets and a wealth of expertise to assist women beyond each show’s conclusion.
