Roberts Trio and Grammy Award-winning jazz singer Catherine Russell (“a voice that wails like a horn and whispers like a snake in the Garden of Eden”—NPR) join the Houston Symphony for virtuoso jazz and classic Gershwin songs, including a love song for your sweetheart. Plus, the Houston Symphony performs a new take on Gershwin’s iconic Rhapsody in Blue alongside jazz piano sensation Marcus Roberts, in celebration of the 100th anniversary of its premiere.
