June Artful Thursday: Fosse

The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston presents its June Artful Thursday program: Fosse. June 19, at 6:30pm.  Presented by Sam Wasson, author of “Fosse," "Fifth Avenue, 5 A.M.: Audrey Hepburn, Breakfast at Tiffany's, and the Dawn of the Modern Woman," and “Paul on Mazursky”; and visiting professor of film at Wesleyan University.

Fosse. A giant name in choreography and film. Bob Fosse (1927–1987) began his career aspiring to become the next Fred Astaire and extended what had become "traditional dance"—including the use of props such as bowler hats, canes, and chairs—by introducing new vocabulary
