Be among the first to experience these new pieces when Da Camera presents the Houston premieres of works by three towering figures in contemporary music. We present the Houston premiere of Steve Reich’s Radio Rewrite, inspired by the music of Radiohead. Grawemeyer Award-winning Dutch composer Louis Andriessen, one of the most acclaimed, influential composers of his generation, combines video and music in Life.
In the new music event of the year, the award-winning ensemble ICE returns to Da Camera in full force, with an ensemble of 20 musicians. Exemplifying the term "trailblazers," this self-managed entrepreneurial group has gained world renown for their electrifying performances of the music of our time.
