The 3rd Annual Mariachi Festival is a tribute to the Mexican icon, Vicente Fernandez. The performers include the award-winning Mariachi 7 Leguas, the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley Ballet Folklorico and the University of Houston Mariachi Pumas.
