YOU have been chosen to be ever-vigilant for evildoers and super villains who skulk around campus and also to take on The League’s superhero core curriculum which includes:
- Get Your Gear On – Superheroes can’t rely on their powers alone. Learn how to make your own gear, costume, symbol, gadgets, guides, vehicles and more! We’ll show you how.
- Train Up – It takes both physical and mental training to be super, and The League will put you through both all summer long.
- Put Your Powers to the Test! – Bigger, better, stronger power. Try out your physical and mental prowess on different challenges which will test the limits of your powers.

Heroes are made in America! The fuming Strong Man is smashing his way across the country, so it’s up to you to stand for truth, justice, and the American way!
- Captain America is pretty good with his shield and you can be too! Use our “training shields” to hit all the targets in The Arena.
- Use the power of light and your quick hands to make the heated Strong Man see stars and stripes in the Brown Auditorium.
- Create your own colorful bubble displays of Ol’ Red, White, and Blue and master the Science of Freedom at Science Station.
- Join the High Steppers Brass Band as they lead to the jaw-dropping elephant toothpaste patriotic burst on Kidpendence Day, July 4, and celebrate the heroes who have contributed to making America the land of the free and the home of the brave!
KIDPENDENCE Day events update:
- Boy Scout Color Guard and National Anthem: Kick off the festivity with the Scouts presenting the flag and the Pledge of Allegiance followed by the National Anthem.
- Event Time: 1:30 p.m. in the Alcove
- Flag Waving Parade lead by High Steppers Brass Band: Follow this exciting brass band as they march through Kidtropolis, USA out to the Concrete Jungle.
- Event Time: Parade leaves at 1:40 p.m. from the Alcove
- Elephant Toothpaste Patriotic Geysers Burst: Watch an exciting eruption of patriotic red, white and blue.
- Event Time: 1:45 p.m in the Concrete Jungle
- Welcome to the League” Live Epic Showdown: Join the Kid and Code Monkey in an exhilarating quest for superpowers.
- Event Times: Noon, 1 & 2 p.m. in the Brown Auditorium
- Get Your Gear On – Capes and Masks: Use plastic fusion to create awesome superhero accessories.
- Event Time: Noon to 1 p.m. in How Does It Work?
- Epic Experience – Light Painting: Use your faster than speed of light reflexes to paint with light.
- Event Time: 4 to 5 p.m. in Brown Auditorium
- Scratch Art Fireworks: Light up the night sky using this art technique at Alexander Art Academy.
- Red, Light and Blue: Make a patriotic symbol light up at the Inventors’ Workshop.
- Star-Spangled Bracelets: Design a patriotic patterned bracelet at ExxonMobil Math Cart.
