Go Healthy Houston presents Sunday Streets HTX – Washington / Market Square.
On the first Sunday of June, Washington Avenue and Franklin Street will be opened to pedestrians between Studemont and Market Square Park (at Milam). With no cars on the road, you’ll be able to enjoy these streets for walking, running, dancing or cycling with friends and family.
Sunday Streets HTX is not a street festival. It is a family-friendly opportunity to be physically active and enjoy active transportation, as well as connect with neighbors in your community.

A portion of a great Houston street will be closed to vehicular traffic from 11am – 3pm during the first Sunday of each month in April, May, and June 2014.
