Tai Chi Chuan for Health II (In-Person only)

Meditate through movement using tai chi chuan, a Chinese exercise based on the yin/yang philosophy and practiced in slow, relaxed, continuous motion.

Meditate through movement using tai chi chuan, a Chinese exercise based on the yin/yang philosophy and practiced in slow, relaxed, continuous motion. Practicing the forms of tai chi and breath coordination is a tranquil way to focus your mind, achieve physical and mental balance, and gain vital energies.

This program is being offered IN-PERSON only. Participants are encourage to wear a mask at all times, and to practice social distancing. Students are required to complete and sign a liability waiver form in order to participate, which will be distributed via email prior to the program, and

PARKING INFO

Parking is always at a premium in the Houston Museum District, but free parallel parking can be found in the neighborhood surrounding The Center. The Museum of Fine Arts operates a paid parking garage across Montrose Boulevard from The Center and a paid surface lot right next door to The Center.

Should you have a handicap sticker, hanger, or license plate, please feel free to use any available space in The Jung Center’s staff parking lot, on the south side of the building.
