The Absent Father Effect on Daughters: Father Desire, Father Wounds (Livestreaming)
This is a love story, but an unrequited one. It is about the needs a child has for a father figure, made more prominent and painful when he is absent. The presence of the father’s absence affects body, mind and soul, and is arguably more harmful than the absence itself. Additionally, the absence is accentuated because it implies an empty space to be filled, and a need to attend to the lack.
