The Devil Made Me Do It: An Introduction to Jung's Theory of Complexes

The Jung Center of Houston presents The Devil Made Me Do It: An Introduction to Jung's Theory of Complexes.

What is a complex? We’ve all heard of the Oedipus complex, the inferiority complex, and the mother complex, but what do these ideas really mean?

Jung placed great importance on the notion of the complex, which he referred to as “the architect of dreams” and “the via regia” (royal road) to the unconscious.

We will explore this basic and important concept through lecture, discussion, film, and through an intuitive appeal to our everyday understanding and experience.
