THE QUEEN’S SIX: THE ORIGINS OF BAROQUE VOCAL MUSIC
The Queen’s Six is comprised of lay clerk members based at Windsor Castle’s St. George’s Chapel Choir, which performs in eight services weekly – quite often in front of the Royal Family.
The select vocalists, who travel the globe to share their unique style, were a part of the international stage during the recent marriage of Prince Harry. Making its Houston Early Music debut with The Origins of Baroque Vocal Music, the a cappella ensemble will present a program charting the progress of European Renaissance music through many political and musical upheavals.
Full-season subscriptions may be purchased for $170 general admission and $130 senior admission. Individual tickets are available for $45 general admission, $35 senior admission and $15 for students with a valid student ID card. Children under the age of 15 receive free admission.
