The Mercer Society
The Mercer Society, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit support organization, assists Mercer Arboretum & Botanic Gardens by organizing and implementing activities that encourage membership support, expand community awareness and raise funds for the continued enhancement of programs and collections.
The Mercer Society hosts several fund-raising activities and events all year long including its annual gala – The Garden Party & Auction, Summer Color Conference, and the Garden Faire Fall Market and Festival. The Mercer Society is known for its signature plant sale events: March Mart and Summer Color Conference and Plant Sale. Plants are also sold nearly all year long at the Gift Shoppe. We pride ourselves on offering the area’s must unique and eclectic selection of trees, shrubs, tropicals, annuals, perennials, herbs, fruits and vegetables. Our on-site Grower and a team of volunteers tend to our private nursery stock to bring you the very best in both distinctive and popular species.
The Mercer Society has a membership base of more than 900 individuals, families and businesses providing additional support. Memberships start as low as $25 for Seniors and $35 for individuals. For membership information, click here.
Mercer invites you to join the dedicated group of volunteers who share their time, talent, knowledge, and enthusiasm to help make Mercer a premier botanic facility.
