    Established in January 2020, the 5th Ward Cultural Arts District located in  Houston’s Historic 5th Ward community is one large masterpiece. It is a place where art is a way of living, from its food, music, and sculptures; to its Historic buildings and gathering spaces like the Historic Deluxe Theater or the Iconic live music venue Club Matinee (Cotton Club of the South.) The 5th Ward Cultural Arts District is a living cultural arts destination and the center of Houston’s African American history and culture.

    The Greater Houston Area Chapter of AU was founded in 1995. We work to protect our civil liberties by promoting church-state separation in Texas and in Houston by educating, lobbying, and outreach. We work with people in local chapters, community activists and houses of worship to safeguard church-state separation. Our Chapter organizes or sponsors educational programs that are free and open to the public. We lobby our elected representatives in Austin when the legislature is in session. We work with the National Organization to address possible violations of church-state separation in our area. Our chapter is an affiliate of Americans United for Separation of Church and State (“the National Organization”). We are governed by By-laws, the Articles of Association, and policies of the National Organization.

Today with nearly 3,000 alumni from more than 150 chapters, Houston is a great city for brothers to stay involved with our great brotherhood! The Houston Area Alumni Association goal is to foster a spirit of pride and loyalty for the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity, its principles and rich history. It was established to promote the brotherhood of Alpha Tau Omega by providing an outlet for area alumni interaction and to support the local undergraduate chapters. Our aim is to allow the opportunity for alumni to continue to benefit from their membership through fellowship, networking, social engagements, and a variety of other interactions.

The Chamber is also part of a growing network of Australian American Chambers of Commerce in the United States.

One small package with a few items and pictures morphed into three packages with over 150 images and a large variety of neccessities for our troops overseas. Now, Benefit Betties is expanding to various local and national charities, as well as an on-going program for "Pinup Package Parties" to send gifts to troops overseas.

    The Bilateral US-Arab Chamber of Commerce (BUSACC) is the premier member based organization that serves as a liaison between prominent government and private trade development agencies, associations and academic institutions in the US and MENA region. Through our Commercial Diplomacy Programs we advocate trade between the US and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Arab countries. We strive to provide our members with the most current information on the region through three components. Our Commercial Briefings provide US government expertise on emerging markets and their dynamic trade policies. BUSACC prides itself in the assistance we provide to our members seeking exposure in the MENA region. We lead trade missions of private business and government officials to the region as well as host foreign delegations in the US to enhance the visibility of US business abroad. BUSACC events are anticipated worldwide sponsorship of such receptions, forums and conferences provide a great avenue for business to market themselves to an audience with interests in the Arab world.

    The Breakfast Yoga Club is a grass roots organization sustained entirely by volunteers. Our mission is to unite the yoga community by offering donation based yoga that honors all traditions of yoga. The BYC is yoga without borders and is not affiliated with any particular studio. We create monthly yoga events at different locations around Houston by inviting a variety of teachers from different styles to participate in teaching a round robin style practice. We also love to provide live music and breakfast when possible. Each month we feature a local charity to raise awareness and support with the intention of inspiring seva and cultivating activism in our community. Our monthly events are held on Saturday or Sunday mornings and we encourage bringing yogis to their mat to build new friendships, to play and to surround themselves with the good energy that fosters loving kindness and joy.
