The Dream@50
THE DREAM@50 is a tribute series to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King, Jr.'s "I Have a Dream" speech, including The Dream@50 Art Contest, a student art contest (K-12), Dance the Dream, a world music/dance celebration, and a feature documentary.
The mission of THE DREAM@50 is to reify Dr. King's dream of a fully integrated, fully empowered, world (the Beloved Community) through the arts.
THE DREAM@50 is produced by Karz Productions in partnership with the United Nations (Academic Impact), UNESCO, YouTube, International Theatre Institute, Global Arts Link, Americans for the Arts, Dance/USA, National Dance Education Organization, National Education Association, National Art Education Association, National Council of Teachers of English, National Council for the Social Studies, the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation, Arts Schools Network, Dance Camera West, and Dance Films Association.
