The F.A.H.E.T.G.D.S ladies mount yet another assault on the classics with their stage production of A Christmas Carol.
Theatre Suburbia kicks off its 59th holiday season with The Farndale Avenue Housing Estate Townswomen’s Guild Dramatic Society’s Production of A Christmas Carol, by David McGillvray and Walter Zerlin, Jr.
Several F.A.H.E.T.G.D.S. classics have graced Theatre Suburbia’s stage, but their version of A Christmas Carol remains one the audience’s favorites as the always-embattled Mrs. Reese and Thelma co-chair the reigns.
Be ready with your hankies and Depends as Mrs. Reese engineers some novel audience participation, while bravely contending with a chattily intrusive PA system.
Bringing the production to life are actors Janye Anderson as Mrs. Reece, Jennifer Prior as Thelma, Peggy Butler as Mercedes, Laura Schlecht as Felicity, and Ray Kroulik as Gordon. Adding to the festivities will be two specially-composed songs accompanied on stage by pianist and music director, Patti Lozano.
Reservations are strongly encouraged. Tickets: $18 Adults, $16 Students and Seniors. Sunday Matinees, all Seats $16. Cash, check, and all major credit cards are accepted.
Groups of 15 or more, $14.00 per ticket, paid 2 days in advance.
