Dance the Dream Houston is part of a worldwide music and dance tribute that brings the entire city of Houston together to celebrate the values and goals of the “I Have a Dream” speech.

Dance the Dream Houston is directed by Jane Weiner and features an original arrangement of Stevie Wonder’s hit, “Heaven Help Us All,” with the South African Youth Choir. A speaker at TEDx Houston, Jane Weiner is Artistic Director of Hope Stone Dance Company, one of Houston’s leading modern dance companies.
All Houston residents are invited to join the city’s top professional and student dancers in commemorating the “I Have a Dream” speech and supporting equity rights for all Americans.
Dance the Dream Houston is being taped for a feature documentary, “The Dream,” and for New York City’s World Peace Day event in Times Square, September 21, 2014.

Everyone is invited to join Houston’s top professional and student dancers in celebrating Martin Luther King, Jr.’s dream for a better world at Discovery Green on May 18, 1 p.m.
