Houston Go Red For Women Luncheon

Presented by American Heart Association - Houston at Hotel ZaZa Houston

The American Heart Association will host its annual Houston Go Red For Women Luncheon on May 15 at Hotel ZaZa Houston featuring NBC’S “Today” show nutrition and health expert Joy Bauer (pictured) as the keynote speaker.

Bauer, author of multiple New York Times bestselling books, expresses her passion for nutrition through "What The Heck Are You Eating?," a popular YouTube series she created and hosts, and a monthly health column she writes for Woman’s Day magazine. Bauer’s desire to deliver scientifically sound health information has graced her with the 2010 National Media Excellence Award from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, as well as the 2012 American Society of Nutrition Nutrition Science Media Award.

The Go Red for Women Expo and Luncheon focuses on educating others on the prevention of heart disease and stroke and living a healthy lifestyle, with proceeds going towards the fight against the No.1 killer of women, heart disease.
