WIDE AWAKE PRODUCTIONS presents Bill W. and Dr. Bob, a play by Samuel Shem and Janet Surrey. Directed by Glenn Dodson. Assisted by Mickey Jones and Michelle Kuebker.
The story that chronicles the journeys of the two founders of Alcoholics Anonymous, how they met and how they started the program that would offer hope for so many. Join us as we tell a story of heartache, friendship, and human weakness accented with humor and a great dose of hope.
In an effort to give back to the recovery community, WIDE AWAKE PRODUCTIONS is pleased to announce that the proceeds from our 2014 production of Bill W. and Dr. Bob will be donated to: A Way Out Women's Center and The 24 Hour Club. These are detox centers that help men and women that have alcohol and drug addictions, and who have no funding or insurance, to have the opportunity to start a foundation for a clean and sober life after their initial detox period.
These are both non-profit organizations. We welcome any and all donations to the project. All donations are tax deductible.
