Film Screening: Unbreakable Threads

Presented by Jung Center of Houston at Jung Center of Houston

Jung Center of Houston presents a film screening of Unbreakable Threads.

Join The Jung Center for a free screening of Unbreakable Threads, a documentary offering a personal and intimate perspective on same-sex couples raising children. Featuring such familiar Houstonians as Mayor Annise Parker, master chef Monica Pope, and KPRC chief meteorologist Frank Billingsley, this film explores the challenges and triumphs of parents raising children in a culture that is not always accepting.

The screening will be followed by a conversation with creator and filmmaker Stacey Summers, co-director Stig Daniels, and a panel of participants featured in the film.

Stacey Summers is the creator and producer of Unbreakable Threads. A school teacher for many years, Stacey’s passion to help better the lives of children remains strong and was one of her main inspirations behind the creation of this film. Stacey is an artist and author of two books.
