From Plot to Narrative: a workshop by Elizabeth El...

Presented by Houston Storytellers Guild at The Havens Center at St. Stephen's Episcopal Church

Houston Storytellers Guild presents From Plot to Narrative: a workshop by Elizabeth Ellis. Nationally-known storyteller and author Elizabeth Ellis presents a workshop based on her book, From Plot to Narrative.

Any idea for a story can be fleshed out into a well-told story with easy exercises that take it from plot to narrative.

In this workshop, Elizabeth will teach us how to take any story idea, whether a personal, family or original story, a sacred tale, a folktale, a business story or trial narrative, and turn it into a finished story.

This workshop is recommended for storytellers, writers, clergy, lawyers, and anyone wishing to tell a good tale.

Elizabeth Ellis has performed as a storyteller throughout the US and abroad.  From folktales she heard growing up in Appalachia to stories of strong women to hilarious and poignant stories from her own life, she is a riveting teller of tales.  A member of the National Storytelling Association's Circle of Excellence, she is also the author of three books.
