Shakespeare Pub presents the Gulf Coast Organ Trio.

Gulf Coast Organ Trio plays original and classic B3 Blues and Grooves drawing from the rootsy sounds of the Gulf Coast Region. This seasoned group of veterans comes together out of a sincere wish to put together Funky R&B, Soul and Blues music. GCOT  adds a new twist to the Hammond Organ, Guitar and Drums format.

Brad Absher – guitar, vocal- who splits his time between New Orleans LA and Houston TX, started his legendary career in Tulsa OK where he is still sought after and in “High Demand”- His legend stretches far from Oklahoma into Texas and he is well known in New Orleans where he lives part time. Just a few years ago he made himself a name in: Manila, The Philippines- where he pioneered the BLUES with many Local musicians.

Barry Seelen – Hammond B-3 organ – is classically trained in Jazz,with a degree from the Hartt School (Univ. of Hartford) He is originally from the East Coast (where he is still very much in Demand) Barry now resides in Houston ,Texas. He has toured North America, Europe and Turkey & Russia with a variety of blues masters such as Matt "Guitar" Murphy, Greg Piccolo and Mighty Sam McClain and Fuzz, amongst many others.

Mike “The General” Patton – Drums and Vocals. He has made his home in L.A., Chicago and Houston & has toured all over the U.S. including working with Sam Andrew, of Big Brother and the Holding Company and Texas native and former member of the “Grass Roots”, Scott Hoyt and many others, including Buck Yeager. Mike is a well known drummer and vocalist that currently works in many genres including country and blues.

Together they write and perform a wide variety of music that is danceable and easy to get hooked on.
