LOCATION: Houston Ballet Center for Dance
601 Preston Street, Houston, TX 77002
Presented in partnership with the Houston Ballet Academy and in collaboration with Aurora Picture Show
AFA offers one of the most innovative programs for young composers by giving them the opportunity to write music for chamber ensembles, dance and film. Performed by AFA faculty, these world premiere works are choreographed and performed by the Houston Ballet Academy Summer-Intensive program and set to short films curated by Camilo Gonzalez of Aurora Picture Show.
This is one of the most exciting concerts of the summer to showcase the immense creativity of our students.
