One of the most stately and magnificent buildings in Houston, The Old Cotton Exchange Building has been a historic institution in this dynamic city for many years and is registered with the Local, State and National Historic Societies.
Eugene T. Heiner, one of Houstonâ€™s foremost architects, designed this building as a High Victorian version of a Renaissance palazzo in 1883 and construction began in June of 1884.
The building was complete in November of 1884 and was the original offices
